			<description>The Center for Wooden Boats, 1010 Valley St, Seattle, WA &lt;br/&gt;Sunday, February 7, 2010, 1&amp;nbsp;&amp;ndash;&amp;nbsp;4pm &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;S&amp;#257;&amp;#257;d&amp;#363;&amp;#363;ts, CWB's Artist-in-Residence, is a Master Haida carver.  He has helped build over 5 canoes in the Seattle area.  Currently a 37 foot log is in the early stages of being carved. 			<title>Cast Off! - Free Public Sail</title>
			<description>The Center for Wooden Boats, 1010 Valley St, Seattle, WA &lt;br/&gt;Sunday, February 7, 2010, 2&amp;nbsp;&amp;ndash;&amp;nbsp;4pm &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Our Cast Off! program allows visitors the chance to sail in classic boats.&lt;br /&gt;The boats we use include: Admirable, a Bristol Bay Gillnetter,  Amie, a Friendship sloop, Colleen Wagner, an Egret Sharpie, our long-boat Discovery, our New Haven Sharpie Betsy D, or a visiting classic.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Before and after your sail take a walk on the docks and discover the boats. Watch the volunteer crews rigging the boats. They&amp;#8217;ll be happy to answer any question you might have, and you may even have a chance to help with the rigging!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We sail rain or shine, but wind conditions may keep us at the dock. Reservations are taken day-of-sail only at the CWB front desk. This is a popular activity so please arrive early to reserve a spot, we open at 10am. Watch the volunteer crews rigging the boats. They&amp;#8217;ll be happy to answer any question you might have, and you may even have a chance to help with the rigging!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We sail rain or shine, but wind conditions may keep us at the dock. Reservations are taken day-of-sail only at the CWB front desk. This is a popular activity so please arrive early to reserve a spot, we open at 10am. 			<title>Open Canoe Carving</title>
			<description>The Center for Wooden Boats, 1010 Valley St, Seattle, WA &lt;br/&gt;Sunday, March 7, 2010, 1&amp;nbsp;&amp;ndash;&amp;nbsp;4pm &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;S&amp;#257;&amp;#257;d&amp;#363;&amp;#363;ts, CWB's Artist-in-Residence, is a Master Haida carver.  He has helped build over 5 canoes in the Seattle area.  Currently a 37 foot log is in the early stages of being carved.  Everyone is welcome to come help carve, meet S&amp;#257;&amp;#257;d&amp;#363;&amp;#363;ts, and become part of the canoe family.
