Imagine finding an island &amp;#8211; like Hawai&amp;#8217;i &amp;#8211; in the Pacific Ocean using the stars, seabirds, the color of the water, and the clouds as your guide.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; This festival is the museum&amp;#8217;s annual celebration of Hawaiian arts and culture and coincides with Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. During the festival, visitors can meet and greet Hawaiian culture bearers who are practitioners of the traditional Hawaiian arts related to voyaging and canoes.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Visitors can also learn about living a life of &amp;#8220;aloha&amp;#8221; by watching and learning about hula, taking in a cooking demonstration, watching films, and presentations, and meeting and greeting our Hawaiian guests.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Explore the excitement of navigating and moving the Hawaiian culture across the Pacific through the hula, storytelling, demonstrations, a talk on navigation, foods of the islands, and hands-on activities.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; The program will also include a special concert on May 25th with Grammy nominated&amp;#160;singer,&amp;#160;&lt;strong&gt;Amy Hanaiali`i&amp;#160;Gilliom&lt;/strong&gt;, one of Hawai&amp;#8217;i&amp;#39;s most respected and loved female vocalist, songwriter, composer and performer. She continues to be the top-selling female vocalist in Hawai&amp;#8217;i. Imagine finding an island &amp;#8211; like Hawai&amp;#8217;i &amp;#8211; in the Pacific Ocean using the stars, seabirds, the color of the water, and the clouds as your guide.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; This festival is the museum&amp;#8217;s annual celebration of Hawaiian arts and culture and coincides with Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. During the festival, visitors can meet and greet Hawaiian culture bearers who are practitioners of the traditional Hawaiian arts related to voyaging and canoes.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Visitors can also learn about living a life of &amp;#8220;aloha&amp;#8221; by watching and learning about hula, taking in a cooking demonstration, watching films, and presentations, and meeting and greeting our Hawaiian guests.
