The city’s premier contemporary music ensemble Seattle Chamber Players joins Pacific Musicworks to stage a meeting of creative minds across four centuries. The program features Heiner Goebbels’ remarkable music and theatre piece Songs of Wars I have seen (2002) and Monteverdi's revolutionary Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda (1624). This performance also features tenor Ross Hauck, baroque harpist Maxine Eilander and lutenist Stephen Stubbs. Catch the full-length program at On the Boards, March 4 to 7.

A native of the Pacific Northwest, pianist Dave Peck is known for his introspective style and savory harmonic coloring. His award winning trio and solo projects (Trio, Solo, 3 and 1, Out of Seattle and Good Road) are radio and critical favorites. The Dave Peck Trio includes the brilliant Jeff Johnson on bass and the drummer Eric Eagle. Both rhythmic and romantic, the trio uses the standard repertoire as a framework for new composition and form. Their work is rich, intuitive and harmonically complex, with a unique and signature sound.
