Research in Progress - Undergraduate Research & Mentoring (*BIS 290) Curated by: Jennifer McLoud-Mann, Professor, School of STEM Winner of the 2016 Distinguished Research Scholarship and Creative Activity Award The Winter 2017 Research in Progress series (*BIS 290), will feature UW Bothell investigators who involve undergraduate students in their research projects. The seminars are open to all interested faculty, students and staff as well as alumni and community partners. The aim of this series is to foster interdisciplinary communication/collaboration and increase awareness of work currently being done by UWB faculty. *BIS 290 – 2 credits: Introduces emerging scholars to research practices, methods, and processes through research seminars linked to skill building classroom workshops and discussions. Students will develop skills necessary to be successful scholars and researchers while learning about research that is being conducted by the UW Bothell faculty and students.
