| | Description | Please join us for brown bag discussion about weapons production, waste, and cleanup at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation! John Findlay and Bruce Hevly are co-authors of Atomic Frontier Days: Hanford and the American West, which was a finalist for the Washington State Book Award. Dr. Findlay is a UW Professor of History specializing in social and urban history of the Pacific Northwest and is the managing editor of Pacific Northwest Quarterly. Dr. Hevly is an Associate Professor of History at the University of Washington and specializes in the history of science and technology with a particular focus on Big Science and the field of physics. |
