This bonus Grand Rounds features Robert Wachter, MD, professor and chair of the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. Author of 300 articles and six books, including A Giant Leap, he coined the term “hospitalist” in 1996 and is often considered the “father” of the hospitalist field, the fastest-growing medical specialty in U.S. history.

Blending clinical insight and storytelling, he will share how AI is changing what it means to care—and be cared for—in this age of astonishing technology.

NOTE: CME credits will not be offered. Pediatric Grand Rounds will also take place the following day (Tues. June 23) at it's regular time (8 am).
