		<title type="text">AIDS Walk Boston &amp; 5K Run 2013</title>
		<content type="html">DCR Memorial Hatch Shell&lt;br /&gt;47 David G Mugar Way&lt;br /&gt;Boston, MA 02114 &lt;br/&gt;Sunday, June 2, 2013, 7am &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Join us for the 28th annual AIDS Walk Boston &amp;amp; 5K Run on Sunday, June 2nd, 2013 to support AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts, New England&amp;#39;s oldest and largest AIDS service organization and their mission to prevent HIV infections, support those affected and tackle the root causes of HIV/AIDS.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; The Walk is 6.2-miles long and will begin and end at the DCR Hatch Memorial Shell on the Charles River Esplanade in Boston. There is neither a registration fee nor a minimum funds raised requirement in order to participate in the Walk.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; If you prefer running, register for the Athleta 5K Run with a 3.1 mile route along the Charles River. The 5K Run is a competitive, timed event, and is fully sanctioned by the USA Track &amp;amp; Field Association. The 5K Run is $25 to register.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Corporate sponsors of this year&amp;#8217;s AIDS Walk and 5K Run include Macy&amp;#8217;s, Bristol-Myers Squibb, EMD Serono, Whole Foods Market, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Partners HealthCare, Eastern Bank, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, PharmaHealth Pharmacy, Jet Blue, and Polar Seltzer. 		<content type="html">Back Bay Social Club&lt;br /&gt;867 Boylston St&lt;br /&gt;Boston, MA 02115 &lt;br/&gt;Wednesday, June 12, 2013, 6&amp;nbsp;&amp;ndash;&amp;nbsp;9pm &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Join Big Sister Association of Greater Boston&amp;#8217;s Young Professional Board as they kick-off another Running with the Bridesmaids at the Bash Before the Dash on Wednesday, June 12th at Back Bay Social Club!&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Last year&amp;#8217;s Running with the Bridesmaids sponsored by Boston.com was an unforgettable spectacle as hundreds of former bridesmaids donned their &amp;#8220;finest&amp;#8221; and ran in all their sequins, sparkle, ruffles, and glory through the Boston Common to win prizes and raise nearly $6,500 and awareness for Big Sister Association of Greater Boston.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; This year, the Young Professional Board will be throwing a kick-off event at the Back Bay Social Club in anticipation of the second annual formal wear extravaganza and to help reach the 2013 goal of $25,000 raised! Tickets are $30 for a night of complimentary food, a great raffle, good music, and fabulous company -- retired wedding gear not required. All proceeds go directly to Big Sister to help girls realize their full potential by providing them with positive mentoring relationships with women.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Big Sister Association of Greater Boston, the nation&amp;#8217;s largest and only donor and volunteer supported mentoring organization in the Big Brothers Big Sisters network exclusively serving girls, holds itself accountable for girls in its program to achieve measurable outcomes, such as educational success; avoidance of risky behaviors; and higher aspirations, greater confidence and better relationships.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Partnering with parents/guardians, schools, corporations and others in the community, Big Sister carefully pairs girls (Little Sisters) with trained volunteer mentors (Big Sisters) and monitors and supports these one-to-one mentoring matches throughout their course. 		<title type="text">6th Annual New Balance Heart Break Hill 5K Run &amp; Walk to Benefit Franciscan Hospital for Children</title>
		<content type="html">Boston College Alumni Stadium&lt;br /&gt;140 Commonwealth Ave&lt;br /&gt;Chestnut Hill, MA 02467 &lt;br/&gt;Saturday, June 15, 2013, 9am &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Saturday, June 15, 2013 marks the 6th Annual New Balance Heart Break Hill 5K Run &amp;amp; Walk to Benefit Franciscan Hospital for Children! The event is a charitable 5K run/walk for participants of all ages, beginning at 9:00am at Boston College&amp;#8217;s Alumni Stadium Gate E in Chestnut Hill, MA. The day also includes a Kids &amp;#8220;Fun Run,&amp;#8221; a 100-yard dash around Boston College&amp;#8217;s Alumni Stadium.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Registration will open from 7:00am to 8:00am. The race begins at 9:00am with the Kids &amp;#8220;Fun Run&amp;#8221; at 10:00am. Following the race, participants and supporters are invited to celebrate at a party with food, music and prizes.
