WBA From the Bar to the Bench

Summary: "From the Bar to the Bench" is the WBA's marquee event. It will be held on March 7 from 6 pm until 7:30 or 8. The program will be held in the Ceremonial Moot Court room with a reception to follow in the atrium. The program consists of a panel of five successful female attorneys in different fields (public interest, academia, the judiciary, private practice, and government advisory). During the event, each panelist will take a few minutes to discuss what she does and describe how she went from being a student to holding her current position. Students (both men and women are encouraged to attend!) can then ask questions regarding career paths, challenges, etc. This is a great way to gain perspective and motivation (and, of course, network).
