One of the most unique, scenic, wilderness relay courses in the United States - Along this 212 mile relay race runners will trace the wild Rogue River through the Cascade Mountains to the wild Oregon coast.

Participants need a 12 or 6 person ultra-team that will rotate through 36 tyransition areas. Each team member runs 3 legs of varying lengths and difficulty, totaling 14-19 miles per participant.

Description
What is contra? It is a form of folk dancing ~ Americans have been enjoying contra for ages! We have videos posted on our wall that will give you a taste. NO EXPERIENCE is necessary. There will be a quick lesson at the beginning of each dance to bring newbies up to speed.
General Information
Dances are held with a live band the third Friday of each month starting with a potluck @ 6 p.m. There will be a lesson @ 6:30 p.m. and the dance will be held from 7-10 p.m. Inexpensive beverages will be sold throughout the event. $5 per person is the suggested donation to assist in covering expenses.

Pennies for Pooches, Curry County Animal Shelter, is putting on their very first charity golf tournament and are inviting you to join in on all the fun and for the great cause.

Pennies for Pooches is the non-profit agency that runs Curry County Animal Shelter. The Shelter is proud to be a no-kill shelter. Only animals too ill or severely injured are euthanized. Pennies for Pooches just started rescuing dogs from high kill shelters in California and pulling dogs from Oregon's red alert lists. To continue this level of commitment, we are asking for your help by participating in the tournament. Funds from the tournament will go directly to the shelter to be used to fund daily operations.

Description
What is contra? It is a form of folk dancing ~ Americans have been enjoying contra for ages! We have videos posted on our wall that will give you a taste. NO EXPERIENCE is necessary. There will be a quick lesson at the beginning of each dance to bring newbies up to speed.
General Information
Dances are held with a live band the third Friday of each month starting with a potluck @ 6 p.m. There will be a lesson @ 6:30 p.m. and the dance will be held from 7-10 p.m. Inexpensive beverages will be sold throughout the event. $5 per person is the suggested donation to assist in covering expenses.
