The cost is $30 and each girl will receive a t-shirt to perform in and keep. February 4th is the deadline for RSVP (contact Torry Heiss, phone and email provided). Event description: Bald Eagle Nesting, Make a date to come to Barr Lake in either Jan or Feb as they are excellent months for bald eagle viewing. In January, eagles begin courtship behavior including tumbling in mid-air, nest building, and staying close together. In mid-February and often coinciding with Valentine’s Day, bald eagles lay one to three eggs. The parents take turns incubating the eggs, so you are practically guaranteed to see an eagle on the nest. If all goes well, eaglets hatch in late March. Eagle Express to the gazebo and back.
