Language classes on Saturday and Sunday are mandatory for all participants, but we will also offer a full range of other optional activities. For instance, after registration on Friday evening we will offer a crash phrase course and an opportunity to learn a song or two in Irish. We will also have a "seisiún" to allow attendees to talk and get acquainted while enjoying traditional Irish music. Bring you musical instruments.

Between classes on Saturday, various workshops will be offered covering different aspects of Irish culture, history, music and dance. Mass will also be celebrated in Irish on Saturday for those who choose to attend; and a Céilí will be held later that evening with live music, dancing and entertainment.

Sr. Briege McKenna, O.S.C. has led a life devoted to Christ and His
priests, as a Sister of Saint Clare since the age of 15. Soon after comingto the United States from Ireland and taking final vows, Sr. Briege wascrippled by a debilitating arthritis. At the age of 24, she was miraculously healed during celebration of the Eucharist and felt called to bring the same gift of healing and comfort to priests around the world. She has answered her call to support the priesthood by hosting healing andsupport retreats and seminars from Florida to Scandinavia, Africa to Argentina. Her popular book, "Miracles Do Happen: God Can Do the Impossible," has been translated into several languages.

to recognize people in the Catholic Church whose exemplary leadership in the family, the workplace, the community and the Church has been inspiredby their Catholic faith,” said Timothy C.
