Features nearly 40 photographs taken by McGee over a 60-year period (1930s - 1990s). 			<description>Friday, April 9, 2010, 6&amp;nbsp;&amp;ndash;&amp;nbsp;8pm &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;In the course of his time at Pottery Northwest, Larry Naylor entertained a view that was sidelong to that of many with a traditional clay background. 			<description>Washington State History Museum&lt;br /&gt;1911 Pacific Ave.&lt;br /&gt;Tacoma, WA 98402 &lt;br/&gt;Thursday, April 15, 2010, 10am&amp;nbsp;&amp;ndash;&amp;nbsp;5pm &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;See symbolic &amp;#8216;icons&amp;#8217; of the features, events, people, and  landscapes that make Washington state unique. This exhibit not only identifies icons, but explores why and how these icons came to be. From the Space Needle to Lucky Lager brewing company, and from Ezra Meeker's efforts to save the Oregon Trail, to game five of the Seattle Mariners&amp;#8217; 1995 divisional series against the New York Yankees, explore what Washington has done for the country and the world. Features nearly 40 photographs taken by McGee over a 60-year period (1930s - 1990s). Sponsored by Northern Pacific Railway Historical Association, Montana Department of Transportation and Montana Historical Society.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Regular museum hours are Wednesday - Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. Museum admission is $2 adults, $1 seniors/children. The backbone of this exhibition will come from the photography collection assembled in Paul de Barros&amp;#8217; traveling show, Jackson Street After Hours.
