Event description: Friday Enrichment - Guitar lessons Classes will be on Fridays from 8 to 4:30 beginning January 13, 2012. Individual instruction will be on Guitar techniques, repertoire and music theory. Classes will be for ages 10 and up. Cost is $15 for each half hour lesson. The total for the 8 class session is $120 and $16 for the guitar book. I provide handouts for each student and work assignments after each class. I will provide a guitar for each class but I recommend each student purchase a guitar in order to do the homework., The 8 classes will be held on:, January 13 and 27, February 3, 10 and 17, March 2, 9 and 16, Classes will be taught by Terry James Webb. Terry studied music in Junior High and High School in Reno and played French horn in the school bands. He also studied piano and guitar with private lessons. He has played professionally in various Folk, Country and Rock bands in the Reno area for many years. He has been repairing stringed instruments for schools, music stores and private customers for over 25 years (Sundanceguitars.com), and also teaches guitar classes at Carpenter's Music Academy in Reno.
