The Blind Center of Nevada is a day center for the blind and visually impaired in Southern Nevada. We offer round trip transportation (15 mile radius) from your home to our center with free lunch served 3 days a week. We have a computer lab, talking books library, ceramics, music, choir, and drama classes, all at NO COST cost to the participant. We are open Monday-Thursday 9am-2pm. Our membership is open to those who are blind or have a condition that could lead to blindness, teens-seniors. Free Naturalization Classes
CORE (Congress of Racial Equality), is offering Naturalization classes to anyone between them age of eighteen and above. The classes will be held every Saturday starting September 12th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Civics classes will cover US history and American Government with specific focus on questions that are asked on immigration citizenship interviews.

Participants will receive practice questions and will be coached in preparation for the interview. Immigration counselors will answer questions and provide assistance in filling out citizenship forms. This is an important community service. We encourage those who qualify to complete citizenship applications to maintain family units and to join American Dream and avail themselves to more career opportunities. The first in a series of fine art collections to show in the ORIGEN Experience's Big Springs Gallery, Robert Beckmann's "Elemental Landscape" exhibit features the artist's trademark oil paintings. Currently living in Oregon, Beckmann is a long-time Las Vegas artist whose work skillfully captures the essence of both locales. "Elemental Landscape" features paintings of the Las Vegas Wash and the Pacific Northwest, using waterways as the common thread tying together these two disparate environments.
