Summary: This play takes place in the ATL and it centers on the lives of five divas whose lives may from time to time appear to be spiraling out of control. If you could imagine a music industry enactment of the hit sitcom “Girlfriends” or “Livin’ Single” then you will get the concept of “The Woman I Am Today”. Other parallels... “Sex and The City” meets “Waiting to Exhale” then the women “Set It Off”... we can't leave off the “Soul Food” drama. Step into the world of these divas to see what happens when DIVAS face off with life’s struggles. The performances will take you on an emotional roller coaster of laughter, joy, sadness, praise and hope for a new beginning as these DIVAS discover the women that they have to be is nothing compared to The WOMAN that each one of them will become today.

Somerset, Minnesota is a quiet, train town that is getting ready for its 1905 Christmas celebration – complete with carolers and kids running amok. But pending doom occurs when several of the town kids have to stay home to help with their farm, until a family with 12 children files off the train to help out. Hovering over the Christmas preparations is the talk in the town that the first storm of the year will hit soon. Everyone gets wrapped up in the busy-ness of the season, but it takes a storm to bring everyone together and reveal the true meaning of Christmas. About the presenting organization: Cornerstone Theatrical Productions is a nonprofit organization founded in 2007 that focuses on family-oriented, theatrical productions. Our number one goal is to provide a safe, family-oriented atmosphere where people in the local community can have fun on stage, meet new friends, and become a support to one another, while entertaining the community. We provide a variety of productions, including an annual, faith-based Christmas show and an annual gala fundraiser. We will also be offering musicals and straight plays throughout the year. Regardless of whether Cornerstone Theatrical Productions produces a musical, straight play, acting camp, or gala, we will offer clean shows that are excellent and entertaining, whether comedic or serious.
