"The Woman I am Today"

Morton Theatre
195 West Washington Street
Athens, Georgia 30601
Sunday, November 15, 2009, 7 – 9pm

Ticket Web Link: mortontheatre.tix.com
Presenting Organization: Athens Alumni National Pan-Hellenic Council
Summary: This play takes place in the ATL and it centers on the lives of five divas whose lives may from time to time appear to be spiraling out of control. If you could imagine a music industry enactment of the hit sitcom “Girlfriends” or “Livin’ Single” then you will get the concept of “The Woman I Am Today”. Other parallels... “Sex and The City” meets “Waiting to Exhale” then the women “Set It Off”... we can't leave off the “Soul Food” drama. Step into the world of these divas to see what happens when DIVAS face off with life’s struggles. The performances will take you on an emotional roller coaster of laughter, joy, sadness, praise and hope for a new beginning as these DIVAS discover the women that they have to be is nothing compared to The WOMAN that each one of them will become today.
Admission Price: $25 in advance, $30 at the door
Ticket On Sale Date: Monday, October 26
Payment Methods Accepted: Cash Checks and Visa/MC
Checks Made Payable To: NPHC
Ticket Purchase Locations: WXAG, NPHC Members, and Morton Theatre Box Office
Ticket Phone Number: (706) 613-3771
Seating: General Admission
Contact: Marvin J.
