AquaMarine Ambience Block of The Month

Embroidery Machine Required to participate in this class.
730/200/ 640/630/440/430 with embroidery units.

Must know how to use your embroidery machine with your computer. This is not a class to learn your machine, it is a class to learn new techniques to make this quilt.

Project: AquaMarine Ambience Quilt

AquaMarine Ambience was inspired by the colors of the sea as they change with the water's depth; one color merges into another as the light reflects off the water, and shadows seem to hover just above its surface. So too do the fabrics, threads and embroidery of this quilt all seem to merge.

This is a new quilt, his second, by Simon Haskins, Jenny Haskins youngest son. He made if for a friend for her 30th birthday.

Join us as we explore this wonderful quilt each month.
Learn techniques of using templates, software, tools and more.

2008 THIMBLEBERRIES QUILT CLUB

My Quilt Shoppe is ready to set in motion another year of fun with Lynette Jensen and the Thimbleberries group on the first Saturday of January 2008 at 9:30 A.M. We will have the big quilt pattern and/or quarterly projects for you to begin and My Quilt Shoppe has decided to enjoy both color ways this year - the Lodge and the Lakeside fabrics have been ordered and will be available. The samples will be here as soon as we possibly can make it happen; however, in the meantime the poster is in the classroom of MQS, so visit and look at what will be possible as this is a great way for even beginners to start a masterpiece.

For you to make these projects and to be part of our club we need you to make a choice or two NOW! We need you to sign up and pick your color way - The Lodge or The Lakeside and pick your preference for the large bedside quilt (94 x 114 inches) or the smaller quarterly projects

This will be a monthly meeting lecture/demo. Learn the history of the block you will be piecing and the technique to put it together. We will be doing 12 different blocks. At the end of the year you will have 12 beautiful blocks to put together to have a great sampler quilt.
