Lynette Jensen and Thimbleberries believe 3 is the magical number for 2009 and this year the club is called 3's Company. The patterns are inclusive of a novice quilter with demos monthly to explain beginning quilting skills yet they are intricate to be a challenge for the more experienced quilter.

My Quilt Shoppe will offer this
Block - Of - The - Month series in the traditional color way.
Each month you will get a pattern booklet and the 3 fabrics needed to make one 12 inch and three 6 inch blocks. All the blocks will be used in the original 80 x 98 quilt.

If you prefer, there is a club pattern for a king size quilt, a throw size quilt or a wall hanging. Also included are the monthly newsletter and extra projects. Come in to the classroom to see the fabrics in the quilt and the posters with your various options.

Sign up fee: $25.00
January's fee: $42.00 includes: 3 ¼ yards of the background fabric in addition to the pattern and 2 fat quarters to complete the 12 inch and three 6 inch blocks for the month.

February through December Fee: $11.00 per monthincludes:
pattern booklet and 2 fat quarters to complete the 12 inch and the three 6 inch blocks.

Meetings are the 1st Saturday of the month at 9:30 A.M. or the 1st Monday of the month at 3:00 P.M.*

Join Dot and staff as they explore how we can bring a great big smile to our seasoned citzens here in Henderson County. We are going to be working with Council on Aging for the next year or so. Our first project is going to be making a placemat for each person that is in the Meals On Wheels project. Then we will get real creative and make holiday placemats, bibs and hopefully we will get to blankets.

Meet with us to put kits together, sit and sew, binding etc. We will have guidelines to work within for the placemats.
