 r Wendy Schuyler to develop aerial dance skills weekly at The Water Heat
 er. Enjoy a full-body warm-up emphasizing strength and flexibility\, the
 n take your turn trying out basic aerial dance vocabulary on the aerial 
 apparatus and improvising your own ideas. This workshop is for adults 18
  and over. All participants will sign a liability waiver to participate.
  Anyone ages 14-18 may take class but a parent or guardian must sign a w
 aiver and attend the first class.\n\nClothing requirements: Tight fittin
 g clothes such as tank tops and leggings or unitards. Please bring a lon
 g sleeve shirt for protection. Do not wear jewelry or any clothing with 
 gems or metal applications. Do not use lotion the day of class as it is 
 easier to work with the aerial silks. Please keep nails neat and short a
 nd long hair pulled back.\n\nNo prior experience necessary. You may (dro

 r Wendy Schuyler to develop aerial dance skills weekly at The Water Heat
 er. Enjoy a full-body warm-up emphasizing strength and flexibility\, the
 n take your turn trying out basic aerial dance vocabulary on the aerial 
 apparatus and improvising your own ideas. This workshop is for adults 18
  and over. All participants will sign a liability waiver to participate.
  Anyone ages 14-18 may take class but a parent or guardian must sign a w
 aiver and attend the first class.\n\nClothing requirements: Tight fittin
 g clothes such as tank tops and leggings or unitards. Please bring a lon
 g sleeve shirt for protection. Do not wear jewelry or any clothing with 
 gems or metal applications. Do not use lotion the day of class as it is 
 easier to work with the aerial silks. Please keep nails neat and short a
 nd long hair pulled back.\n\nNo prior experience necessary. You may (dro
 p in) to any class but you will see faster results if you sign up for th
 e entire 6 week session. \n\nWendy Schuyler has a bachelor's from Appala
 chian State University and has trained with aerial dancers Jayne Bernasc

 r Wendy Schuyler to develop aerial dance skills weekly at The Water Heat
 er. Enjoy a full-body warm-up emphasizing strength and flexibility\, the
 n take your turn trying out basic aerial dance vocabulary on the aerial 
 apparatus and improvising your own ideas. This workshop is for adults 18
  and over. All participants will sign a liability waiver to participate.
  Anyone ages 14-18 may take class but a parent or guardian must sign a w
 aiver and attend the first class.\n\nClothing requirements: Tight fittin
 g clothes such as tank tops and leggings or unitards. Please bring a lon
 g sleeve shirt for protection. Do not wear jewelry or any clothing with 
 gems or metal applications. Do not use lotion the day of class as it is 
 easier to work with the aerial silks. Please keep nails neat and short a
 nd long hair pulled back.\n\nNo prior experience necessary. You may (dro
 p in) to any class but you will see faster results if you sign up for th
 e entire 6 week session. \n\nWendy Schuyler has a bachelor's from Appala
 chian State University and has trained with aerial dancers Jayne Bernasc
 oni and Nancy Smith and has attended the annual ETSU Aerial Dance Worksh

 s\, "On Dream Street\," was published in 2007 and won the Tupelo Press E
 ditors' Prize. It was also among the final 25 books considered for the W
 alt Whitman Award\, and individual poems from the book have received a n
 umber of honors\, including an award from "The Comstock Review." Univers
 ities' West Press recognized a poem with the Emily Dickinson Award and t
 he Paris Writers Workshop presented her the Patricia Painton Memorial Fe
 llowship for a group of poems. Her work has also appeared in a wide rang
 e of journals\, including "The Georgia Review\," "Poetry\," "Five Points
 \," "Seneca Review\," "The Comstock Review\," and "American Literary Rev
 iew\," and she has been nominated three times for the Pushcart Prize. Ra
 ised in Atlanta\, Georgia\, and southern Maine\, she is an associate pro
 fessor of English at Roanoke College\, where she teaches poetry writing
 \, Native American literature\, contemporary novel\, and special topics c
 ourses\, including a contemporary culture and literature course\, "The W

 r Wendy Schuyler to develop aerial dance skills weekly at The Water Heat
 er. Enjoy a full-body warm-up emphasizing strength and flexibility\, the
 n take your turn trying out basic aerial dance vocabulary on the aerial 
 apparatus and improvising your own ideas. This workshop is for adults 18
  and over. All participants will sign a liability waiver to participate.
  Anyone ages 14-18 may take class but a parent or guardian must sign a w
 aiver and attend the first class.\n\nClothing requirements: Tight fittin
 g clothes such as tank tops and leggings or unitards. Please bring a lon
 g sleeve shirt for protection. Do not wear jewelry or any clothing with 
 gems or metal applications. Do not use lotion the day of class as it is 
 easier to work with the aerial silks. Please keep nails neat and short a
 nd long hair pulled back.\n\nNo prior experience necessary. You may (dro
 p in) to any class but you will see faster results if you sign up for th
 e entire 6 week session. \n\nWendy Schuyler has a bachelor's from Appala
 chian State University and has trained with aerial dancers Jayne Bernasc
 oni and Nancy Smith and has attended the annual ETSU Aerial Dance Worksh
 op 2008 and 2009.
