DESCRIPTION:For nearly 75 years\, the Hambidge Center for Creative Arts 
 & Sciences has drawn artists\, writers\, poets\, musicians and other cre
 ative thinkers to take up temporary residence within its pristine settin
 g in Rabun Gap\, Georgia.\n\nOn November 5th\, Hambidge will draw art lo
 vers to downtown Atlanta for its 14th Annual Art Auction and Party to ra
 ise funds that will go toward scholarships for artist residencies as wel
 l as other environmental and community programs supported by the Center.
  The event will allow guests an opportunity to see and bid on more than 
 100 pieces of fine art from both established and emerging artists\, many
  of whom are Hambidge Fellows. The evening includes a silent and live au
 ction\, catered hors d’oeuvres\, cocktails and plenty of creative fun.
