			<description>Canonchet Farm&lt;br /&gt;Anne Hoxsie Lane&lt;br /&gt;Narragansett RI 02882 &lt;br/&gt;Sunday, May 20, 2012, 1&amp;nbsp;&amp;ndash;&amp;nbsp;3pm &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Friends of Canonchet Farm is sponsoring a walk led by John Campanini of the Rhode Island Tree Council.  He will be looking for culturally, historically or biologically notable trees to be included in the Rhode Island Champion Tree Registry. As you learn what makes a &amp;quot;Champion Tree,&amp;quot; perhaps you will also discover you have one in your own back yard.  This walk is free and open to the public. 			<description>Departs from Charlestown Mini-Super, 4071 Old Post Road (Route 1-A), Charlestown, RI &lt;br/&gt;Tuesday, May 22, 2012, 8&amp;nbsp;&amp;ndash;&amp;nbsp;10:30am &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The popular Tuesday Morning Bird Walks will be continuing through the end of May. Bird activity then drops off while they&amp;#39;re busy raising families, so we&amp;#39;ll be taking June and July off, and then starting back up in August. Phil Budlong will be coordinating the programs. 			<title>Thursday Morning Bird Walks at Eppley</title>
			<description>Marion Eppley Wildlife Refuge, Dugway Bridge Road, West Kingston, RI &lt;br/&gt;Thursday, May 24, 2012, 7:30&amp;nbsp;&amp;ndash;&amp;nbsp;9:30am &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;May is the peak month for the spring bird migration, with different species moving through each week. This program offers plenty of chances to get in on the best birding of the year! This is also a rare opportunity to explore the Marion Eppley Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the largest Audubon refuges, but closed to the public except for guided educational programs. No advance registration is required. Walks will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather (i.e., more than just a little sprinkle)--if the gate is locked that day&amp;#39;s walk has been cancelled; please don&amp;#39;t walk into the refuge on your own. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;</description>
