This is a planning meeting for the Albemarle County School Board's Telephone Town Hall meeting being held on October 29, 2008 from 7 to 8 PM. The primary topic is the 2009-10 school budget. All registered voters, parents/guardians and our staff (those with phone numbers we could identify) will be called to participate.

Albemarle County's Human Resources Director, Kimberly Suyes, has scheduled an information session on Albemarle's 403(b) program changes.

From the announcement:
As there have been many questions from the employees that participate in our current 403-B program and as a result of much incorrect information being circulated, I thought it would be beneficial to have a meeting that all 403-B participants and any concerned employees can attend to get a better understanding of what changes will be occurring as a result of the new IRS regulations effective January 2009. An experienced representative from Bolton Consulting Firm will be sharing information and answering any questions you may have. I believe this will allow us all to have a better understanding of what we can expect before moving forward with any changes as this time.
