Your terms would run March 1st through Sept. 1st. Scrapdango is looking for enthusiastic artists to join its Design Team. Scrapdango is a monthly scrapbook kit club with exciting scrapbook kits and products from leading manufacturers. If you love scrapbooking and want to be on our Design Team, please apply.

Tickle Trunk Memories is looking for members to be on their design team! We have recently opened our on-line store and are looking for creative, talented and energetic individuals who love to scrapbook.

Design Team Requirements:

If you are chosen you will be required to submit three (3) projects each month (one card, one tag, and one 12 x 12 layout). We will provide you with the kit and your projects must be completed and sent to us by the 10th of each month with the kit you received the month prior.

As well, you will be required to participate in layout challenges that we open to our customers/readers.

You must be able to provide us with clear pictures of your projects so that we can post them on our store/blog.

We are looking for papercrafters of all kinds! If you make scrapbook layouts, cards, altered art items, home decor items or like mixed media.... we want you!! One of the best things about Frosted Designs (in my opinion) is that we celebrate all kinds of crafters! We are not just a scrapbooking blog or a card blog. We want to let everyone share their skills and with 3 challenges going on all the time, there is something for everyone! We would like to fill some positions on all three of our teams. Let me tell you more about each one....

Fabulous Friday Teams: We have two teams of ladies that make up our Fabulous Friday teams. The focus of this team is to use up supplies you already have laying around the house that may have been neglected and forgotten about. For this team, you should be willing to do any of the following: scrapbook layouts, cards, altered art, home decor and mixed media items!

Sketch Along Tuesday Layout Team: This team makes scrapbook layouts that are inspired by the sketches we give them.

Sketch Along Tuesday Card Team: This team makes cards that are inspired by the sketches we give them.

No matter which team you prefer, the requirments for all of our designers remain the same....
1. Be willing to commit to a six month term. Your term would start the beginning of March and go until the end of August.
2. Create a project every other week for your assigned team.
3. Share a step by step tutorial 2 times during your 6 month term. (This can be with photos or video)
4. You will be required to comment on some of the projects that are entered into our challenge each week.

Spring 2012 Calls

Banners. Banners are everywhere. Let's see those layouts showcasing banners!

Deceived. Make a LO that deceives the eye - for example, the layout shows
two photos but it really has eight. Send two photos so we can see both
views.

The Funny Side. Believe it or not, humor has been proven to be
therapeutic. In fact, a recent study found that humor causes the brain to
release endorphins that act as a natural pain killer! I guess laughter
really is the best medicine!! Show us how you use humor in your cards or
layouts.

Timeless. It’s a new year, where has the time gone? Get out your clocks,
time pieces, and clock images to create a timeless layout, album or card.
Take back some time by remembering the past with a time inspired theme.

Graffiti. With artist Georgia O’Keefe as your inspiration, put on your art
smock and create with “one big flower”. Use felt, paper, paint, ribbon, or
a doodle, but use only one flower on your creation and make that bloom a
BIG one!

Wall Street. Recycle! What better way to save money than to recycle
something that was destined for the trash. It's good for your wallet AND
good for the environment. Show me pages that recycle something -
packaging, cardboard, even travel brochures. Anything that would have been
thrown away is fair game.

Daily Drive. MMMM- MMMM Good! We'd love to see layouts (digital or hybrid)
about your favorite home cooked foods or meals. Be it exotic international
dinners or casseroles, mac and cheese and hot dogs, cheese cake or
tiramisu, whatever makes your family happy! We can’t wait to see what the
layouts you “whip” up!!

Open Road. Put the focus on your journaling. Spring is a time for rebirth!
Share your strategies for reenergizing yourself on a layout. Be sure to
include journaling describing how and why you get recharged in this way!

Technique Turn: Sew ready for Spring! Show us your creative sewing by
machine or by hand. We want to see different types of stitches,and
different thread colors (sorry no faux stitching using ink). Use stitching
to highlight something or use stitching to create a border, flowers...so
many different things you can do with stitching. We can't wait to see how
you stitch things up.

Card Corner. We want to see any and all cards using the sentiments of
Graduation, Mother's Day, Spring, Baby, Congrats and Happy Birthday. Take
a look at the technique calls below and make sure to include one of the
aforementioned sentiments with your submission:

KISSY KISSY: No not me. I mean kiss the stamp! Stamp kissing or
smooching continues to be a favorite technique and we want to feature
cards using this super fun approach to stamping. Please include a
brief note of how you kissed your stamp.

DIE CUTS: Whether you have the Cameo, Cricut or Pazzles, we want to
see your cards creatively using die cuts. Yes, store bought pre-cut
die cut shapes are fine as well.

INTERACTIVE CARDS: We want to see cards where the recipient has to do
something in order to experience the full glory of your creation. Some
ideas include spinner cards, pockets, folders, removable tags, etc.

Inspiration Way. Simple things in life: Draw your inspiration from the
image posted in the Magazine calls section and let your creativity flow!
Think out of the box and make a layout of any size or a card or an
altered item, any project goes! Please include a line in your submission
telling us how this image inspired you.

Deadline is midnight February 18th for all calls.

We are looking for an undetermined number of self motivated, inspiring scrappers to create and share their work using our scrumptious monthly kits! We want scrappers who think outside the square and are able to effectively use a variety of different manufacturers and embellishments on one page. Being a new store and team we have the chance to create the 'A Piece of Cake Designs' community together, where all ideas and contributions to the kits and store will be valued and appreciated.

As a Design Team Member you will receive:

* A limited edition 'A Piece of Cake' designs kit each month which will be packed full of scrappy

yummy-ness.

* Support from fellow DT in a DT closed forum.

* Generous discount from all yummy-ness in the 'A Piece of Cake Designs' store.

We are an inspiration challenge blog... we want to encourage you to look at what God is doing in your life and scrap about it. He has blessed us with such wonderful talents and we should glorify Him with them.... We bet that most people are experiencing God every day and never even notice. We have two challenges per month. Our main challenges inspire you to spend time with God as you scrap; we also include a scrap twist getting people to try the newest and funnest scrapbooking techniques and products Our second challenge is based on sketch or technique and inspire you to be creative. We have a lot of fun at SEM and would love to have you as part of our team....

Requirements
1 layouts per month as an example for our Main Challenge
Optional 2nd layout per month for our Sketch/Technique Challenge

Plan and post one Main Challenge during your 6 month term

Post 4 additional posts (Heartfelt Post, Sketch/Technique, and Praise Post) during your 6 month term

Participation in our DT private Facebook Group
Participation in any events such as blog hops, crops, etc.

Part 1

Part 2
All potential DT members will be asked to join our "Getting to Know You" Facebook group from Feb. 21-28... This will give us a chance to get to know each other.... This will be a place that current DT and future DT will be able to mingle... Current DT can ask you questions while at the same time you can ask us anything you would like to know. You can share your projects and the inspiration behind them... Sound fun!!!!

On Feb. 29th everyone will be contacted as to whether or not they made the team... March 1st the new DT will be given the April Main Challenge prompt so that they can start working on their April examples. The new DT will also be given the new schedule in March.

Scrapbooks Etc. - Call for Projects

Scrapbooks, etc. has a new column, and we’re searching for submissions. The column will be called “Etc.” and it is all about using your scrapbook supplies for home décor and gift ideas…projects other than scrapbook pages. As one of our editors (the fabulous Michelle Rubin) said, “This is about getting your supplies off the page and using them in new ways.”

If you have the April 2006 issue of Scrapbooks, etc, this column will be very similar to the ideas featured in our “Deck the Walls” column…wall art, memo boards, keepsake boxes, etc. (hence the name of the column!). We’d love to see your most creative and unique ideas!

Send photos of your projects to us at submissions@meredith.com, and put “Etc.” in the subject line to ensure your samples make it to the right people. Email submissions must be 500k or less. We will have an ongoing need for this type of project, so please send them at any time.

Berry71bleu Blog and Berry71bleu Etsy Shop is looking for enthusiastic, new DT members and Guest Designers.

As a DT member you will be required to do 1 monthly project (Layout, cards, altered project or any creative form you can add the tags to) with Berry71bleu tags. This term will start in April 2012 and will end in September 2012. You will be assigned a certain day of the week every month in which you will post your completed project on our blog. During your term, you are required to do 1 tutorial and host 1 monthly challenge. You are allowed to combine all projects for this. When you host a challenge, you will also be featured as Designer of the month.

You must have a blog where you can post your projects. You will also help us promote Berry71bleu Tags and Etsy shop any way you can, as long as it is allowed, either on Facebook or scrapbook galleries.

As a compensation, you will receive 2 large kits and handmade tags during your 6 month term.

We have a laid back team. We respect and support each other. We follow the golden rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". No drama and no back stabbing. We treat each other like family.

If you are interested, email your application with 3 photos of your best projects. DT commitments past and present. Tell me something about yourself and why you would want to be considered for our design team. This call is open to anyone, international applicants are encouraged to apply. DT experience is not required. I believe in giving chances, we all have to start somewhere. iScrap Challenge Group

Welcome to the iScrap Challenge Group

Every month you are going to be presented with a variety of challenges at various times to be completed for points.

With each challenge it will stipulate the requirements and what is needed to be awarded the points. They will also stipulate if you can do digital or hybrid. There will be some layouts that are digital only and the same for paper only.

If at any time you have any questions or problems with the challenges please direct all through the forum. There will be a chat area for the challenge competitors so you can ask there.

You will have until the 28th of each month to complete all challenges and have them uploaded to the iScrap's Challenge folder in the gallery. Once you have uploaded the challenges please post in the challenge thread with a link back to the gallery. DO NOT place the images in this thread.

Another step that you will need to do in the gallery, is make sure that you give each layout a title in the following manner: iScrap Challenge # 1 – TITLE HERE. I will know who posted it as your name is on all uploads.

That takes care of the intro. If there are any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Scrap-A-Latte has a Design Team Call! We are looking for one full time designer and an alternate for special projects.

The Call is open through February 29, 2012. We will review all the submissions at that time, our selections will be announced by March 10, 2012.

If you would like to be considered for a position on our team, please submit 5 projects to salonline@sbcglobal.net by the deadline date. We encourage you to submit Layouts, Cards, Sketches and Décor projects. We love stamping too! Everything Crafty!

You will be one of 5 members of our team. Benefits beside the obvious, FREE PRODUCTS, opportunities to attend CHA, our assistance in getting your work published and a Scrap-A-Latte hosted retreat once a year!

We expect our Design Team to submit a minimum of 3 projects per month with the kit you receive in a timely manner. Participate on our Message Board as well as on our Facebook Page.
