Seattle premier of the multimedia exhibit about Piero Heliczer — an almost forgotten Beat Poet and experimental filmmaker who collaborated with Andy Warhol, Allen Ginsberg, Gregory Corso, and the Velvet Underground. Work-in-progress screening of a documentary film directed by Seattle filmmaker Thérèse Casper (née Heliczer) held August 30 at 7 pm. Films, artworks, publications, and ephemera by Piero Heliczer will also be on view. |
