The dawning of the 2016-2017 exhibition cycle at the Jacob Lawrence Gallery is resplendent with the work of 2nd-year Master of Fine Arts students: Gavriella Aguilar (Photomedia), Peter Barbor (3D4M), Elizabeth Fortunato (3D4M), Ryna Frankel (Painting), Clare Halpine (Photomedia), Kate Holub (3D4M), Ding Jin (Painting), Daniela Mora (Photomedia), Selma Arely Morales (Painting), Cicelia Ross-Gotta (3D4M), and Tarran Sklenar (Painting).This exhibition is a direct result and continuation of a spring quarter graduate seminar for first-year graduate students in the Painting + Drawing, Photomedia, and 3D4M: ceramics + glass + sculpture Programs. The seminar focuses on contemporary art practice and is taught by Gallery Director Scott Lawrimore. |
