The Leaders to Legends Breakfast Lecture Series spotlights leaders from various industries. Matt Ehrlichman is Chief Executive Officer, Founder, and Chairman of Porch.com. Porch is a fast-growing Seattle-based startup that launched at the end of 2013 and raised $100M as it helps homeowners to get every home project done. Prior to founding Porch, Matt was co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at Thriva, which was acquired by Active Network in March 2007 for $60M. After this acquisition, Matt served as Active Network’s Chief Strategy Officer, and helped grow its revenues from $65 million in 2006 to $420 million and an initial public offering in 2011. Matt built Thriva out of his dorm room at Stanford University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurial Engineering and Master of Science in Management Science and Engineering. In 2014, Matt was named USA TODAY’s Inaugural Entrepreneur of the Year. Event Details A continental breakfast will be available from 7:15–8:00 a.m. The session will start at 8:10 a.m. followed by a Q&A Session. The cost of attendance is $10 payable by check, cash, or credit card. UW faculty, staff, and students receive free admission. Parking is available in lot N5, which is most easily accessed from the main entrance to campus on 17th Ave. NE and N 45th St. Dempsey Hall is located on the north end of campus. The N5 parking lot north of Paccar Hall and Dempsey Hall. To reach Anthony’s Forum, please enter PACCAR Hall at the north entrance directly across from the N5 parking lot.
