FOR LAVIN ENTREPRENEURSHIP STUDENTS ONLY. The Lavin Program is a highly-competitive program for undergraduate entrepreneurs from all majors and disciplines across campus. Only the brightest, most passionate, and driven students are accepted into the program each year. By combining curriculum with hands-on learning, the UW Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship gives Lavin students the experience, skills, and know-how to succeed in their future business ventures. Every quarter, the Lavin Program hosts 5-7 mentoring events and field trips, including “entrepreneur at the table” or E.A.T. Breakfasts, Lunches and Fireside Chats. This E.A.T. Breakfast will be with Michael Vaughan from Venmo. Mr. Vaughan is currently the Chief Operating Officer since 2011 at Venmo, a well-known payment processing and transfer app. Before that, he gained experience in positions such as: Vice President of Business Development & Sales at TicketLeap, Managing Director at Channel Partners & Business Development, and Director of Product Operations Management at Telephia (acquired by Nielsen). |
