Skill level: Beginner/Intermediate (No Prior Experience Needed) After Effects is a professional level video editing program supported on both Windows and MacOS. It is designed specifically for performing complex visual effects and motion graphics on short clips. In this workshop, students will learn the basics of editing within After Effects and explore the various functionalities of the software (layer effects, keyframing, masks, motion tracking, color correction, etc.). Students can expect to leave with a basic understanding of the uses of After Effects and the ability to begin working on their own visual effects projects. Please sign up using your UW NetID email.
