Faculty and staff will have an opportunity to work directly with instructional technology consultants and accessibility experts to discover ways to caption YouTube and Panopto videos. Bring your laptop with videos you want to caption.

UW-IT Learning Technologies staff will provide a 30-minute introduction to captioning at UW, followed by an open session guided by your questions and comments.

Some topics of discussion include:

• new captioning features built-in to Panopto videos
• editing machine generated captions built-in to Panopto and YouTube 
• creating your own captions file for a Panopto or YouTube video 
• captioning services offered by Disability Resources for Students and UW-IT
