Abel Ntambue Mukengeshayi, PhD is an Associate Professor of Epidemiology at the School of Public Health, University of Lubumbashi, and Coordinator of the Research Unit on Epidemiology and Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health. From 2004-2012, he was coordinator of the PMTCT Program in Lubumbashi.  His main research interests are issues related to measuring health, equity, and implementation and evaluation of maternal, newborn, and child health interventions and strategies.  He has authored several articles in, and served as reviewer for, international journals and is a member of l’Association des Epidémiologistes des Langues Françaises (ADELF).
