BYOB is for undergraduates (of any major) who have big ideas and are willing to work hard to see if those ideas have real potential. It is not a class or club – it’s an entrepreneur-led process of discovery. Students pitch an early idea, collaborate with one another, receive feedback and mentoring, and work through the steps to successfully launch their startup OR move forward with a new idea. No matter if you’ve got a startup in the works or are just beginning to develop an idea, this is a great way to meet other students and entrepreneurs who can help you get your business off the ground! The 2018 BYOB series will be hosted by Jay Schreiber, an experienced Strategist at Impact Bioenergy. Check out his LinkedIn profile here: www.linkedin.com… BYOB is extracurricular and requires no registration or credit load. Sessions are held every other Thursday evening from 6-7:30 p.m. in Deloitte Commons*. Students from any major can participate. *The session on 2/11/18 will be held in DEM 233. |
