Exploring History Through Special Collections features photographs, documents, book arts, artifacts, textiles, and more, aimed at introducing new UW students (staff and returning students too!) to the diverse array of unique primary source material available in Special Collections. From early 20th century photographs of UW students studying in the library; from United Workers Union Independent flyers demanding higher wages for UW staff in the 1970s to undergraduate writing students’ art projects; the exhibit is a collage of school-themed material from our collections. |
