iOS and macOS Accessibility Overview

Dane Riley, Apple System Engineer, will provide an overview of the many, powerful accessibility features Apple has included in iOS and macOS. Many of these features can be used every day by all users. During this session we will focus on the main areas including vision, hearing, physical and motor skill challenges and learning and literacy.

• Vision enhancements - Voiceover, screen reader, Siri, screen zoom, font adjustments & color and greyscale
• Hearing enhancements - Video conferencing, captions, mono audio, alerts and hearing aid solutions
• Motor skills enhancements - Simplified touch capabilities, Siri, text enhancements and external hardware support
• Learning enhancements - Guided access, Dictionary, Safari Reader plus third party solutions
