Not Just a Piece of Paper Join the Friends of the University of Washington Libraries for an evening with Joseph Janes, associate professor at the UW Information School. Joseph will tell the stories behind items covered in his book Documents That Changed the Way We Live, which examines documents that have made a difference in the world, how and why they were created, and the impacts they've had on human society and its never-ending evolution. He’ll also discuss his research processes, including extensive use of the UW Libraries collections. Reception to follow in the Walker Ames Room. The event and reception are free but advance registration is required. Register online |
