More About John Janeway: John Janeway, the principal attorney at Janeway Patent Law PLLC, has helped dozens of clients ranging from fortune 500 firms to small start-up companies build and safeguard their assets through patent and trademark protection. His practice is focused on all aspects of IP law including patent prosecution, trademarks, copyrights and relating licensing. Mr. Janeway specializes in the mechanical, electro-mechanical and computer software arts, with specific expertise in power generation, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, electric motors and control circuitry. Before starting Janeway Patent Law, Mr. Janeway spent more than seven years at Graybeal Jackson Haley LLP as an associate and partner. Before joining Graybeal Jackson Haley LLP, he worked as in-house council for a telecommunications firm. Mr. Janeway holds a B.S.M.E. from the University of Utah and worked as an engineer for five years at Boeing, gaining extensive hands-on technical experience before earning his J.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1998. He is admitted to practice in Washington (active) and Utah (inactive), and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
