On this date, Hien DeYoung will be presenting “Founder’s Life Cycle – Scaling with Your Startup.” Hien DeYoung, ACC, CHIC, SHRM-SCP is an executive and entrepreneur coach who works with CEOs, Executive Women and startup Founders. She draws on her 20 years as a human resources strategist working with CEOs and Founders building startup and early stage companies that were able to raise $300m in venture funding including an IPO. In her final corporate job, she was vice president of human resources and designated corporate officer in a small publicly traded company. She is a formally trained executive coach from the Hudson Institute of Coaching. Her executive and corporate officer experience enables relevant context and insights for her work with executives and entrepreneurs. Hien now focuses on executive and entrepreneur coaching, and is an active contributor in the Seattle startup and executive women communities. Hien’s deepest satisfaction comes from helping executives and entrepreneurs become expert at using their capabilities and competencies to achieve their business mission. Working with Hien, clients are able to scale up their leadership to tame their challenges, create strategies for the path forward, build a community relevant to their endeavor, and identify opportunities. Format of the Startup Sessions: The startup sessions will have a topic and an area expert providing key insights and knowledge regarding the topic in a 20-30 minute seminar format. After the main seminar, a speaker from the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic from the UW School of Law will present "Consultants vs. Employees (NDAs, etc.)" Afterwards, the attendees will break into working sessions to engage with the topic as it relates to them. All seminars will be video captured and live streamed. Light refreshments will be served.
