Description | On May 8, 2018, leaders in education, business, policy, health care, academia and philanthropy will come together to discuss innovative ways to transform mental health care in Washington State. Sponsored by Chad's Legacy Project and hosted by the UW Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, the May event is a continuation of an effort started in October, 2017 where we launched ten, bold initiatives ranging from developing new licensure programs for medical paraprofessionals to promoting mental health literacy for youth. Now, we want to continue the conversation. Attendees to the 2018 Washington State Mental Health Summit will get updates on the initial initiatives, learn about exciting new projects, attend panel sessions led by government leaders, employers, insurers and providers, and have the chance to get involved. Together, we can help people get effective mental health care so that all of us can thrive. Please join us -- registration is free! |
