The Graduate School at the University of Washington proudly presents the 2017–2018 public lecture series. This series is brought to the UW community, citizens of Seattle, and the state of Washington through three very generous private endowments: The Walker-Ames Fund, The Jessie and John Danz Fund, and the Mary Ann and John D. Mangels Fund.

Spring speakers include Diane Ravitch (April 4), Megan Ming Francis (April 9), Laverne Cox (April 12), Dennis Overbye (April 17), Bryan Brayboy (April 25), and Claudia Rankine (May 15).
