Interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare (BASW) degree at the University of Washington School of Social Work?  Join us for an information session! You will learn more about the BASW program and the application process, and have a chance to ask questions.

If you are not yet a student at UW, please note that you'll also need to apply to UW as a transfer student (or as a freshman applicant if you're a Running Start high school student) in addition to submitting the separate departmental application for admission to the BASW program. We encourage prospective UW transfer students to visit the Transfer Thursday website, and to attend a general UW Transfer Thursday transfer admission information session in addition to attending our departmental BASW information session. Two applications are required: one for transfer admission to the university, and a second (departmental) application for admission to the BASW program.  UW's deadline for Fall 2018 transfer admission applications was February 15th, 2018.
