Description | Skill level: Beginner (No Prior Experience Needed) In this workshop, students will learn the basic tools and interface introduction of Adobe Illustrator. We will create a digital illustration and explore the various functionalities of the software (shape, stroke, fill, color, gradient, grouping, etc.) Then students will be introduced with the pen tool to create custom shapes. Students can expect to leave with a basic understanding of the uses of Adobe Illustrator and the ability to begin working on their own vector based projects such as logo design, illustrations, icons, etc. Please sign up using your UW NetID email. Even though the classroom is booked for 2 hours, the workshop is about one and a half hour long and the last 30 minutes will be used to answer specific questions students may have (you are welcome to bring the projects you are working on if you require any additional help) |
