Description | Join us for a lecture performance by Steve Kado, visiting lecturer at the University of Washington School of Art + Art History + Design. Steve Kado is an artist, writer, and musician born in North York. His public speaking events, installations, printed material, and image work have been presented widely at such venues as Tate Britain, LA MOCA, The Wattis, The Department of Safety, 8-11, REDCAT, and the Statens Museum for Kunst in Copenhagen. Since 2011, he has co-hosted the "Talking Show" with Nicolas G Miller on KCHUNG radio, a show devoted to talking in/as/for visual art. His writing has appeared in Artforum, Flash Art, and C. Recent books Six of One Half a Dozen of the Other and Brian are available through Golden Spike Press and his band LEAD’s first record is now available on Radical Documents. |
