| Description | The University of Washington's Clean Energy Institute (CEI) created the Washington Clean Energy Testbeds to accelerate the development, scale-up, and adoption of new technologies in solar harvesting, energy storage, and grid integration. This open-access facility for academic researchers and businesses houses labs for manufacturing prototypes, testing devices, and integrating systems. This tour will provide guests with a close-up view of the state-of-the-art processing, fabrication, analysis, and integration instrumentation at the Scale-Up & Characterization and Systems Integration Testbeds. The tour will also feature discussions of on-going programs and ways in which people can become involved in the programs at the Testbeds.
