Poll Everywhere is a Bring-Your-Own-Device Classroom Response System (CRS) available for free to UW faculty, students and staff. CRS is an effective tool to engage students during lectures and help instructors assess subject matter comprehension. This introductory workshop is intended to cover to basics of Poll Everywhere. Topics include:
Creating and presenting polls
Importing Canvas rosters
Exporting scores to the Canvas Gradebook
Effective teaching theories for Classroom Response Workshops covering more advanced topics are being offered later in the Summer Quarter. Computers will be available but we encourage you to bring your own laptop if possible. |
