| | Description | Join us for a lunch discussion on health disparities impacting Black women across their life course. The event is co-hosted by Amelia Gavin (Social Work) and Hedwig (Hedy) Lee (Sociology). Gavin presents her work on understanding the adverse birth outcomes among Black women from a life course perspective. Lee's presentation addresses the health consequences of family incarceration for women (of color). Cyndy Snyder (Family Medicine) focuses on race-related stress and its implications for well-being among women of color. Please RSVP by 5/8. |
