Findlay and Hevly are Professors of History at UW and have co-authored two books about Hanford: Atomic Frontier Days: Hanford and the American West (which was a finalist for the Washington State Book Award) and The Atomic West. Hevly specializes in social and urban history in the Pacific Northwest and is the managing editor of Pacific Northwest Quarterly. Hevly specializes in the history of science and technology with a particular focus on Big Science and the field of physics. Organized by Shannon C.
