Post-election Classrooms and Pedagogy:

Please join the English Department’s Visiting Lecture Committee for a panel and conversation about the rapidly emerging challenges to teachers and teaching in the wake of Trump’s election and the rise in hate speech, white supremacy, and criminalization of immigrants and refugees.  The panelists include Carmen Kynard (John Jay College for Criminal Justice, CUNY), Anu Taranath (English and CHID), and English graduate student teachers Allan Baros, Alysse Hotz and Belle Kim.
