Drawing on her work on Korean American Buddhism and Buddhism and film, Sharon Suh explores Buddhist practice as a political and recuperative strategy. She will also discuss the memoir she has been working on entitled, Occupy This Body. Sharon Suh was recently awarded the Theiline Pigott McCone Chair in Humanities, Seattle University, for her outstanding scholarly record and her topic of mindfulness as a component of social justice.
