Moving Image Preservation of Puget Sound (MIPoPS) is back with new selections from Seattle-area heritage organizations including Southwest Seattle Historical Society – Log House Museum, as well as fresh material from previous participants Scarecrow Video, the Wing Luke Museum, Seattle Municipal Archives, the University of Washington Libraries Special Collections, the University of Washington Ethnomusicology Archive, and more. Featured moving image material includes glimpses of rare feature films, historic Seattle, oral histories, storytelling, and much more! Moving History is the quarterly archival screening night presented by Moving Image Preservation of the Puget Sound (MIPoPS) to showcase videotape digitized by local participating heritage institutions.
