Join UW Club Sous Chef and Zumba Instructor Joanna Soeung as she leads you through a fun, easy-to-follow Zumba workout. Joanna started dancing when she was 6 years old. After moving to the US in 2006, she attended the Tacoma School of Arts with a focus on contemporary modern dance. She discovered Zumba after giving birth to her daughter in 2009 as a great way to get back in shape. “Zumba is the best way to get cardio because you don’t feel like you’re working out. Our motto is ‘Ditch the workout, join the party!’” No prior dancing or Zumba skills are required; join us in breaking a sweat and having some fun! Please wear comfortable clothes and athletic shoes and bring water and a sweat towel. |
