WomenHeart of Houston, a WomenHeart patient support group, provides peer-to-peer patient support and education for women living with heart disease. Support for a woman with heart disease is crucial to her recovery and wellbeing, and that of her family. WomenHeart has found that through its peer-led support networks, women are able to make conscience and well informed decisions about their health and health care based upon the educational programming and emotional support these networks provide.

The Texas Heart Institute at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital, a proud member of WomenHeart’s National Hospital Alliance program, has partnered with WomenHeart to ensure women cardiac patients receive the support they need by serving as the host site for the WomenHeart of Houston support network.
