Pre-Orientation programs are a great way to start your UW Tacoma experience. It is your opportunity to take care of important business before Husky Orientation Week in September. *On Wednesday (6/21) and Thursday (6/22), we will have special advising for students with substantial college credits (Running Start, College in the High School, AP, IB)
*On Tuesday (6/20), Freshmen Direct Students can attend a Milgard registration session at 1:45 PM in SCI 109 to register for classes or schedule an appointment with one of the Milgard advisors. The program is highly encouraged for First Year Freshmen needing to:
- Take Math and Writing Placement
- Explore your strengths toward a career
- Meet your Academic Advisor
- Register for classes
Please Note: Attending Jump Start to Success Days does not qualify as fulfilling your Orientation requirement. Jump Start to Success Days is designed exclusively for NSEOF confirmed students at the UW Tacoma to meet other new students, register for classes, take math and/or writing placements, navigate the campus, and to get questions answered.Don't forget to register for Jump Start! Registration closes on June 9. |
