Don't miss the Neville’s own major, juried art exhibition! This annual exhibition has been held each year (with a few exceptions) since it was established by Museum Director Earl G. Wright in 1942. Paintings, drawings, original prints, photographs, sculpture, and ceramics were all entered by artists living throughout Northeast Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Always highly competitive, only one in three or sometimes only one in two artworks entered were selected for the exhibition.

This year’s juror is Randall Berndt, co-director and curator at the James Watrous Gallery of the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts, and Letters in the Overture Center for the Arts, Madison, WI.

What was Appleton like during the Progressive Era (1850 – 1920)? The turn of the century was a period of speculation and excitement. Americans felt the excitement of world fairs and new technologies entering their daily lives. This new exhibit at the History Museum hinges on Appleton’s evolution from a fledgling manufacturing town to a modern industrial center. Through a collection of 3,000 photographs, amateur photographer W.D. Schlafer captured this rapidly changing environment during the progressive era in the Fox Cities. Visitors will see how much Appleton and the Fox Cities evolved as new technologies and ideas changed the lives of area residents during this transformative period.

We are organizing a benefit for Troy Frakes. He started with prostate cancer in 2009. He has tried all types of cures and exploratory types. He has since been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer stage 4. They cannot do any more to help him. Proceeds will go towards his medical bills and final costs.

Help Mateo and his family in his fight against Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1! Mateo was diagnosed with Type I Spinal Muscular Atrophy shortly after he was born. SMA is a motor neuron disease affecting muscles throughout the body. SMA is the number one genetic killer of children under the age of two and it is often a fatal disease that destroys the nerves controlling voluntary muscle movement, which affects crawling, walking, head and neck control and even swallowing.

Dinner starts at 5:00pm and DJ starts at 7:00pm. Over 100 donations to raffle off the night of the event. Silent Auction, 50/50 raffle and paddle board prizes as well.
